THREE SIMPLE STEPS
Your household, organised in three steps.
Start with one policy. Add its paperwork or enter the details yourself, then build a useful record over time.
Policies, bills and commitments together
Add an account from any provider, record its payment amount and frequency, and link it to your household. Use the review date for a mortgage deal or tariff ending, and leave the contract end date blank for ongoing accounts. Estimated annual costs exclude one-off payments. Provider connections, automatic payments and mortgage balance calculations are not included.
Before you start
Have a policy schedule or renewal notice to hand. It usually contains the insurer, policy number, premium and dates you need first. The wording booklet is useful for conditions and exclusions. Only upload documents you are entitled to store and share with your household.
Choose the way you add a policy
Manual entry works without AI: type in the details and attach files for reference. When AI reading is available, you can opt in for an upload batch and review the suggested details. Upload files for one policy together so documents for different insurers or years are not confused.
Check the details that affect decisions
Compare the policy number, cover dates, renewal date, excess and premium with your schedule. Check whether the premium is monthly or annual. If a detail is missing or uncertain, consult the insurer rather than guessing. Saving a record does not confirm that the insurance is valid.
Keep your wallet useful over time
When an insurer sends a change or renewal, update your record and retain the relevant documents. Check your email reminder preferences and review the timeline. Your insurer remains the source of truth for payments, cancellation and claims.
Do I have to upload a document?
No. You can enter policy details manually and add documents later.
Does PolicyTrack update my insurer?
No. Editing a policy in PolicyTrack changes your wallet record. Contact your insurer to change the insurance itself.
